Keeping you safe in Delta Level 3

Keeping our sellers, buyers and team safe during Delta Level 3 is extremely important to us. That’s why we have strict processes in place to ensure we stick to the Government guidelines and keep our community safe.

Here’s a few key things you need to know when working with us during Delta Level 3

Properties can be viewed, but with restrictions

  • Whilst open homes remain off the agenda in Level 3, we can enable buyers to physically view properties by appointment. However, the following rules must be adhered to:
  • Online viewing methods are still available to buyers and should be used prior to a physical viewing to get a good feel for the property. This is also one of our buyer pre-qualification steps to ensure we get the best-suited people to the right properties.
  • Interested buyers pre-register for private viewings and must read and accept all CV19 and hygiene notices prior to entering the property.
  • you will be accompanied by one salesperson.
  • Viewings are strictly by appointment only and the property must be vacant of the sellers/occupants/tenants (and always with written consent from the sellers).

When you visit a property, things will look a little different

In order to keep everyone safe, we ask those viewing a property to:

  • Scan the QR code on arrival to the property - this is for contact tracing
  • Remove your shoes when entering the home (it’s recommended you wear socks)
  • Physical distancing (2 metres) must be maintained throughout the viewing
  • Keep the viewing as brief as possible
  • Try not to touch surfaces around the home unless absolutely necessary - the salesperson or seller on-site will have all doors, cupboards etc opened for you so that risk is minimised
  • Please wear a face covering and use the hand sanitiser and gloves that are available on-site
  • Sorry - if you have been unwell, self-isolating or in contact with a confirmed CV19 case in the last 14 days you will not be able to enter the property. We will also not allow anyone into a property if those living there have been unwell too
  • Our salesperson will have gloves, a mask and will regularly use hand sanitiser as well
  • Viewings will be spaced out so that we have time to ensure the property is sufficiently cleaned before the next visitor
  • All marketing material will be in digital format - no printed collateral in Level 3, sorry!

We were trendsetters with online auctions when CV19 first touched our shores last year. And over the course of this latest lockdown, we have already run 15 online auctions with over 55+ bidders. Our team are experts at online auctions and are here to help buyers navigate the process and sellers to get the best result possible.

Now is a great time to get your property valued or listed - demand has never been higher

We have delivered over 350 digital appraisals since lockdown - that is an average of 10 a day! We know that lockdowns increase buyer enquiries and dwell time online dramatically grows. Our sales team will work with you to do a comprehensive online review of your property and our compliance team supports with a comprehensive and full disclosure from the seller. Digital appraisals can be followed up with a physical one once we move down to Level 2 too.

When you choose to list, we have a completely contactless admin process to ensure you stay safe. And if you are eager to buy a property we have listed, Level 3 doesn’t stop you from carrying out purchaser due diligence or pre-settlement inspections. The same safety rules apply to those listed above with property viewings though, so please liaise with our sales team to learn more.

If you buy a home, congratulations! The good news is that settlement and moving can all occur under Levels 1, 2 and 3 - this includes those moving between regions if it’s a permanent relocation of home or business.
