Empathy, honesty and transparency are prized and deeply rooted values for the dynamic husband-and-wife team of Farihah and Wayne Ahmed-Joubert. With Farihah’s background in public health and Wayne's as an educator, plus their experiences as immigrants to New Zealand, they each have a deep understanding of people and their situations
“Based on our diverse backgrounds and our experience as entrepreneurs – having both led and run a successful business since 2019 – we have a holistic and mindful approach to all situations and are determined to make the buying and selling process as successful and enjoyable as possible for all our clients,”
says Fari & Wayne. “We believe in quality relationships and listings over the quantity of relationships and listings.”
‘Consistency breeds success’ is something they both implement in their daily lives and their business, too. “Consistency in your efforts leads to self-discipline, teaches you self-control, improves your overall personality, and builds momentum,” says Fari & Wayne. “When you are consistent, you have a sense of accountability and direction that translates to progress,”
Farihah and Wayne have a strong understanding of the local real estate market, as they stay updated with all of the most recent changes in interest rates, recent and current listings and in the press. They both love the team-orientated business model of the Damerell Group, the learnings and training, and the highest level of support it provides to ensure they are backed by the most knowledgeable real estate agents in the business. “The Damerell group ensures we are equipped with the tools to build genuine relationships, which is at the forefront of our business model,” says Fari & Wayne.
“We want to make a difference in real estate by bringing forward energy, transparency and empathy as the driving forces of our business and providing an integral and quality service. Only a few careers can make such a difference in people's lives – and this is one of them. That is why we are in real estate, as we have a genuine interest for property and want to make a difference to people’s lives.”
Farihah and Wayne know the Lower North Shore exceptionally well. They purchased their first home in Birkenhead in 2018 after falling in love with its central location yet delightful faraway coastal feeling. Since then, they have both immersed themselves in the local community and are in the process of joining the Birkenhead Rotary Club and Birkenhead Town Centre Association to contribute more to the area’s sustainable projects.
